Applications

When you've got open cable ends, seal the deal with this heat shrink boot from 3M. It covers up and protects exposed wires or pipes. To get started, just apply heat above +121°C to melt the boot's adhesive lining. The unit rapidly shrinks down from an inner diameter of 9.9mm to 4.1mm as its adhesive lining melts and sets into place. Once cooled, the shrunken part forms a solid and watertight end cap.
