FLUKE Phase Rotation Tester, 120 to 440V AC Phase Display, 2 to 400Hz Frequency Range - FLUKE 9062

Want to make sure your motors are heading in the right direction? This phase rotation tester from FLUKE gives you a quick answer. It comes complete with test leads to make quick connections between the device and your equipment. LEDs on the front are clearly labelled with L1, L2 and L3, making it easy to check the phase sequence, while a sensor clearly highlights the field rotation. That means you can swiftly pinpoint problems in mains supplies and prevent damage to synchronous and asynchronous motors. A frequency range between 2 and 400Hz and a maximum voltage of 400V make this a widely compatible option for use with commercial and industrial equipment.

Features & Benefits

• Green LED lights up when the instrument is ready for testing
• 300V safety voltage rating, suitable for testing three-phase distribution circuits
• Handheld and battery-powered, meaning it's a doddle to use in the field

Applications

• Electrical engineering
• Plant machinery
• Automotive industry
• HVAC systems

How do I test phase rotation when motor shafts aren't visible?

Thanks to contactless detection, this tester still does its job, even when shafts aren't visible. Just unplug the leads and hold the instrument on the motor or machine housing, parallel to the shaft.
