It is ideal for heat shielding, heat reflecting, chemical masking, light enhancement, chemical milling, seaming, sealing and de-paint operations. The soft aluminium is thermally conducting 3M 425 Foil Tape dissipates the heat over the surface of the foil backing to reduce heat sports and protects the subject from the effects of high temperatures. The 425 tape is capable of withstanding temperatures of 149°C without losing any of its fundamental properties.
