RS PRO Polyurethane Replacement Mallet Face

From RS PRO, this soft-faced hammer is manufactured from die-cast aluminium alloy, with replaceable screw-in nylon faces. It is ideal for applications where precision is required, or where you wish to limit the possibility of damaging a surface, such as when working with soft metals.

The soft-faced hammer is lightweight and features a shock-absorbing rubber grip, ensuring comfort and control over long periods of use.

The head has a sealed cavity containing fine metal shot which, when the hammer is accelerating forward, moves to the rear of the cavity. On impact, the shot moves forward giving sustained maximum impact while striking, but also preventing rebound.

The faces are designed to absorb wear and tear, and so are replaceable by hand.
