Essential for anyone working with an abrasive wheel, this RS PRO dressing tool is applied to the wheel to condition it. Its Huntington-pattern spinning cutters will sharpen your grinding wheel's surface.
This Huntington dressing tool is designed to remove bonding material from a grinding wheel and sharpen it by fracturing its grit. As it has star-shaped wheel cutters and spacers, it won't destroy the original surface texture. Made from heat-treated high-carbon steel, the dressing tool is strong and durable.
The dressing process should be carried out regularly to improve a grinding wheel's efficiency and to extend its lifespan. This tool is regularly used to dress abrasive wheels in workshops and foundries, as well as many industrial manufacturing environments.
