ABB Surge Suppressor Unit
The ABB OVR series surge suppressor unit is a protective device to ensure that electrical equipment is not damaged by a sudden voltage spike. It has an electrical rating of 275V and 80kA. Type 2 surge protective devices are designed to protect electric installations and sensitive equipment against indirect surges and ensure a low protection level (Up). They are characterized by their capacity to safely discharge current with 8/20μs waveform.
