The Microchip Touchscreen Sensor IC connects to an Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) glass touchscreen via a flexible printed circuit (FPC). The touchscreen includes an integrated ITO shield layer to enhance signal integrity and reduce interference. The kit includes self-adhesive feet for easy setup on a desk or bench. Alternatively, the assembly can be mounted to a suitable display for evaluating on-screen touch performance.
