The Prowave Air Ultrasonic Ceramic Transducer operates at a centre frequency of 50.0 ± 1.0 kHz, with a bandwidth of 3 kHz. It has a minimum transmitting sound pressure level of 113 dB at 50.0 kHz, measured as 0 dB re 0.0002 mbar with 10 Vrms at 30 cm. The receiving sensitivity is 67 dB min, corresponding to 0 dB equals to 1 volt/mbar, and it features a sensitivity/cross talk ratio of 15 dB.
