Fluke T6-600 Electrical Tester

Using FieldSense Technology the T6-600 measures voltage up to 600 V ac through the open fork, without test lead contact to live voltage. Without opening covers or removing wire nuts. On wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2), carrying as much as 200 A. Making measurement Safer. Faster. Easier.
Fluke T6 test equipment lets you check voltage, continuity and current with one compact tool. With the T6-600, all you have to do is select volts, ohms or current and the tester does the rest. OpenJaw™ current lets you check current up to 200 A without breaking the circuit. Its tough test leads stow neatly in the back of the tester.

Features and Benefits

• FieldSense technology for ac voltage, current and frequency measurement without making electrical contact to live voltage
• 1 to 600 V ac or dc
• 0.1 to 200 A ac
• Resistance 1 Ω to 2000 Ω
• Works with most wire up to AWG 4/0 (17.8 mm jaw opening)
• HOLD button temporarily freezes the reading for easy viewing
• Easy to read display with backlight
• Accepts optional Fluke TPAK Magnetic Meter Hanger for convenient operation
• Standard two-year warranty

Note

Please ensure voltage is measured without test leads

FLUKE Electrical Tester, 0 to 600V AC/DC Voltage Measurement Range, 0 to 2kΩ Resistance Measurement Range - T6-600

Looking for more than a basic voltage detector? Reach for this electrical tester from FLUKE – with one hand-held device, you can quickly measure AC current, voltage and frequency. There's no need to worry about fumbling with small alligator clips as the unit's open-fork design makes it a cinch to slide around conductors. It makes no metal-to-metal contact, so you're reliably protected against electric shocks. A backlit display lets you make light work of reading measurements in dark environments. If your workflow is interrupted, simply press the tester's hold button to temporarily freeze the screen for easy data recording.

• Jaw opening of 17.8mm for compatibility with wires up to 4AWG
• Light weight of 350g for easy handling over long periods of time
• Battery-powered, so there's no need to connect it to the mains

Applications

• Robotics systems
• Food and beverage industries
• Agricultural equipment
• Engineering workshops

Electricians often work in boxes jammed with wires, where finding a safe metallic contact point can be a challenge. With the T6-600 or T6-1000 you take measure

Can I use this electrical tester to measure frequency?

While this versatile multimeter measures voltage, current and resistance, it doesn't measure frequency. For a similar device that does, choose the T6-1000 (146-2605).

Note

Do not hold or touch wire you are testing during a measurement. Use the black probe to make the ground connection if:
• wearing gloves or insulated footwear
• standing on an insulated ladder
• additional ground contact is required for the application
