ABB S200 Series Miniature Circuit Breaker, 63A Current, 400V Rated AC Voltage - 2CDS251103R0607

This miniature circuit-breaker provides overload and short-circuit protection for single-phase installations on DIN-rail systems. It employs dual thermomagnetic and electromagnetic trip mechanisms to respond appropriately to sustained overloads and instantaneous faults, and is rated for AC systems up to 400 V.

Features & Benefits

• 63A rated current for high-load circuit protection
• 6 kA breaking capacity to limit fault energy
• Type K characteristic for selective short-circuit response
• Toggle switch actuator for clear manual operation
• Screw terminals enabling secure conductor connections
• Single-pole Plus NEUTRAL configuration for single-phase distribution

Applications

• Suitable for protecting motor control circuits with high inrush currents
• Ideal for residential and commercial distribution boards
• Used for safeguarding lighting and socket circuits in industrial panels
• Can be used for modular DIN-rail assemblies in automation cabinets

What Terminal types does it use for conductor attachment?

It uses screw-type terminals with a cylinder-lift design permitting flexible and rigid conductors up to 35mm² depending on conductor type and ferrule use.

How does the device indicate on/off status?

The contact position is shown by a red ON/green OFF marking to provide a Visual state indication.

What environmental conditions can it withstand during operation?

It is rated to operate between −25 °C and +55 °C and withstands vibration and shock levels specified for panel-mounted equipment.

How is the device mounted within control equipment?

It mounts on standard TH35 DIN rails and fits a single modular width of 12.5mm for Compact panel layouts.

Are there options for auxiliary functionality?

Bottom-fitting auxiliary and modular accessories such as auxiliary contacts, shunt trips and undervoltage releases can be fitted to extend functionality.
