Vishay VLMx33 Series LEDs


The VLMx33 series, from Vishay Semiconductor, is an Advanced LED based on the VLMx31 series. The VLMx33 LEDs are designed with larger chips and therefore can withstand a 50mA drive current.

The VLMx33 LEDs are in the standard PLCC-2 package which consists of a lead frame embedded in white thermoplast. A reflector inside the LED is filled with a clear epoxy.

Suitable applications for the VLMx33 LEDs include; traffic signs/signals, interior lighting, exterior lighting, dashboard illumination, indicators and backlighting.
