This ESD-safe field kit provides portable protection against electrostatic discharge for field service and electronics repair tasks. The kit contains a laminated red vinyl work mat with two 10 mm snap sockets, an adjustable elastic wrist strap paired with a resistive Coil cord, a common point earth connector with banana plug jacks and a 15 ft ground lead, Plus an alligator clip for connection to local earth. It is intended for use by technicians working on static-sensitive assemblies and components where controlled discharge paths are required.
