The STMicroelectronics M24512E-F is a 512-Kbit I²C-compatible EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable memory) organized as 64 K x 8 bits. It can operate with a supply voltage from 1.6 V to 5.5 V with a clock frequency up to 1 MHz. The device offers three 8-bit registers, namely the device type identifier (DTI) register, the configurable device address (CDA) register, and the software write protection (SWP) register.

Byte and page write within 4 MS (typically 3.1 MS)

Enhanced ESD or latch-up protection

More than 4 million write cycles

Configurable device address register

Device type identifier register (in read-only)

Preprogrammed device address

Software write protection register

Hardware write protection of the whole memory array

Random and sequential read modes
