RN4020 Bluetooth 4.1 BLE Module
The RN4020 from Microchip is a fully certified Bluetooth version 4.1 Low Energy (BLE or BTLE) Module. This module offers a simple embedded solution to add low-power Bluetooth communication into a design.
The small form factor surface mount module has the complete Bluetooth stack, includes all Bluetooth SIG profiles and the Microchip Low-Energy Data Profile (MLDP) for custom data. Control is via simple ASCII commands over UART and in addition the RN4020 can be controlled by another Bluetooth module wirelessly. The RN4020 also features internal scripting capabilities that allow operation without a host Processor or Microcontroller in simple applications.
