The Silicon Labs wireless radio board plugs into the mainboard provided with the EFR32BG module starter kit. The modular design supports different radio boards, enabling developers to develop bluetooth low-energy applications. With the supporting simplicity studio suite of tools, developers can take advantage of graphical wireless application development; and visual energy profiling and optimization. This radio board cannot be used stand-alone and requires a wireless mainboard which can be purchased separately.
