    Why use a cord end terminal?


    Many applications require stranded wires to be connected to terminals to operate correctly. Although for some applications simply inserting the bare strands into the terminal and screwing them is sufficient, this can result in a poor connection with more heavy duty industrial applications. Using a cord end terminal, or bootlace ferrule, allows the wire strands to be securely crimped to create a uniform and superior connection.
