The B&K Precision EIS Battery Analyzer designed for diagnosing battery systems. In comparison to the BA6010 Series Battery Analyzers, the BA8100 provides access to more complex AC measurement techniques such as Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). Utilizing this non-intrusive technique, batteries can be characterized through graphical analysis tools, such as Nyquist and Bode plots included in the provided software. When it comes to measurement capabilities, the BA8100 can measure internal battery impedance at a desired frequency up to 10 kHz as well as voltage (up to 80 V), current (up to 3 A), phase, capacitance, inductance and quality factor.
