    Inclination Sensors

    What are Inclination Sensors?

Inclination Sensors, also known as Incline Sensors or Tilt Sensors. Correct alignment of machinery is a necessity for reliable operation of plants and automation processes. Inclination sensors are used for angular position detection or levelling of mobile machinery, measuring the angle of the object proportionate to gravity.

Incline Sensors are used in instances where accurate monitoring of the angle in relation to gravitational pull is essential. An example would be levelling a mobile work platform or monitoring a front-loader tilt.

    How do Inclinometers work?

An Incline Sensor measures angles in 1 or 2 axes, in which electrical capacity differences can be converted into an analogue voltage. This analogue voltage is proportional to the angle to which the sensor is exposed. They are designed to function and adapt in a range of specific requirements across several applications.

    Applications of Inclination Sensors

Inclinometers are used in a wide range of applications, including:

    • Concrete pumps
