When your solenoid valve fails and you need a new coil, keeping this unit on hand will allow you to make a swift replacement. It’s compatible with Nugget 40 and 120 series valves from Norgren. The coil in a solenoid valve is responsible for generating the magnetic field which opens or closes the valve, allowing media such as gas or liquids to flow through. Over time coils can fail due to factors such as wear-and-tear, corrosion, and burnout, and may need replacing.
