This proximity sensor from Festo lets equipment in your system detect metallic objects without making physical contact. Is this proximity sensor water-resistant?
Yes, it has IP65 and IP67 (ingress protection) ratings, which means it's resistant to water jets from all directions. It can withstand being submerged in up to a meter of liquid for half an hour.
