TMDP and THDP Series probes have the TekVPI® interface which enables smart communication between oscilloscope and probe - each TekVPI probe features controls and indicators located on the probe compensation box, designed to provide quick and easy access to the probe's most commonly required setup controls and operating status. P52xxA Series probes have the Tektronix TekProbe® interface which communicates scale information to the oscilloscope. The P5205A is capable of measuring fast rise times of signals in floating circuits. It can safely measure voltages in IGBT circuits, such as motor drives or power converters, and is specifically designed to operate on Tektronix oscilloscopes with TEKPROBE® interface.
