Eaton MCCB, 1 Pole, 80kA Breaking Capacity - PN1 Series - 259140 PN1-63

Safeguard industrial circuits using this MCCB from Eaton. The thermal-magnetic operation of this unit protects systems from overvoltage and short-circuits to limit electrical damage from surges and faults. A current rating of 63A and breaking capacity of 80kA make it able to handle high-power applications. The MCCB has a single switch to manually turn a circuit on and off. What's the difference between an MCCB and an MCB?

Although both MCCBs (moulded case circuit breakers) and MCBs (miniature circuit breakers) interrupt an electric circuit when a fault is detected, they're not the same. The main distinction is that MCCBs are designed for higher loads. MCBs have a low breaking capacity, while MCCBs have a high and low breaking capacity.
