Need a plug for use where gas and dust create a risk of explosion? This cable-mount two-pin plus Earth plug from Scame stands up to harsh environments like petrochemical plants, mines and flour mills. The glass fibre-reinforced polyester connector boasts impact resistance higher than 20 J at 20˚C. It's fire-resistant and will not emit halogens or smoke.

The plug is suitable for use with switched interlocked power outlet units and will accept cables between 6 mm and 15 mm. It's voltage rated at 200 → 250 V and amp rated at 16 A.

Exhaustively tested for use in hazardous environments, it's ATEX and IECEx certified in potentially explosive atmospheres and meets European standards on industrial equipment (EN 60079, EN 60309). Its IP66-rated enclosure keeps all dust out and it contains only minimal hazardous substances (RoHS). Plus, it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007).
