This RS Pro hygrostat is used to control the humidity within livings rooms, offices or laboratories etc. The device is suitable for wall mounting or being mounted directly on a UP-socket.

Adjustable air humidity range

Humidistats are used in conjunction with humidifiers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers. They use a sensor element to detect moisture in the air and monitor its levels, they then control the device turning it on and off when needed. Using electrical resistance and metal conductors, a relay amplifier will measure resistance allowing the humidistat to determine whether to switch a device on or off to reach optimal levels.
