3M™ Hard Hat, Pinlock, Ventilated, White, G3000

Introducing the G3000 from 3M™, it's a ventilated hard hat with a slim, softly rounded design without any sharp or protruding components. The life of a hart hat is affected by physical, chemical damage and UV radiation from the sun. When exposed to sunlight the stability of the plastic shell may be adversley affected due to the UV radiation interaction with the plastic material which can weaken the hat and compromise the safety of the user.

The 3M™ G3000 uses the Uvicator™ sensor to easily detect the integrity and safety of the helmet related to UV radiation. It's easily and clearly visible to show when the helmet has been overexposed to UV radiation and thus needs replacing.

The sturdy, rigid helmet shell also easily withstands pressure from the side and fulfills all safety-related requirements for construction or industrial work. Optimised for staying cool, with more ventilation holes than conventional ventilated helmets. The hard hat has a short peak which makes it good for upward and wider vision.

How often should you replace a hard hat?

As a general guideline, hard hats should be replaced every 5 years for general use. However, replacement every 2 years is suggested for hard hats exposed to higher temperatures or extreme sunlight.
