The Parker liquid flow transducer is designed to operate with most of the liquids. It provides a pulse output proportional to the flow rate. This is factory calibrated (2L/min to 150L/min) and not user adjustable. The transducer has open collector transistor pulse output of 24VDC. The fluid passes through internal flow straighteners to stabilize turbulence, before impacting the vanned turbine rotor which rotates at a speed proportional to the flow rate. The rotor vanes have stainless steel tips, which are detected by a sensor mounted externally to the glass tube.
