The copper contact material has high thermal and electrical conductivity to maintain a strong current without energy loss. The contact is coated in nickel and plated with gold, creating two layers of resistance against moisture, rust and corrosion. As part of our RS PRO range, this product has been tested to ensure our standards of quality and reliability. A separate crimping tool (stock number 481-516) is available to facilitate installation.
