RS Pro Cat5e unshielded twisted pair (UTP) and foiled twisted pair (FTP) patch cords conform to Class D standards. Using high quality stranded cable, these Cat5e cables deliver excellent flexibility and performance. The RJ45 connector plugs contain top grade 50μ gold plating for reduced degradation. The FTP patch cords benefit from aluminium tape which is used to shield all 4 pairs protecting them from electromagnetic interference (EMI). These RS Pro Cat5e patch cords are available in several lengths and colours with either a PVC or LSZH jacket.

What type of Shield do these network cables have?
