Protecting your motors from faults such as an overload of high voltage, short circuits, or relay shutdowns is vital in an age where any downtime can be detrimental to a business and its operations. Schneider Electric has built a reliable, robust series known as the GV2M series of Motor Protection Circuit Breaker to act as an intermediary between your devices, protecting vital equipment in the event of unforeseen incidents.

• Flexibility in locking the N/C position via the use of 3 padlocks is available. • Motor Protection Switch Push button style control type with easily distinguishable button, coloured in red.
• 100,000 cycles of electrical/mechanical durability.
• Light-weight, robust and compact in its design, the GV2M series is perfect for tight spaces.
• If used on its own, the MPCB has manual or local control. Combined with a contactor and you have access to an automatic & remote control.
• Spring terminal & Screw clamping is available.
Protection ratings & Safety features:
• Live parts are inaccessible to any direct contact from external users, improving the safety of operations around the MPCB.
• Thermal-magnetic trip technology to help protect the unit built into the circuit-breaker.
• EN 60204, IEC 60947-1, IEC 60947-2, IEC 60947-4-1 standard ratings (full list in the datasheet).
• Certified ATEX, BV, CCC. CSA and more (full list in the datasheet).
• IP20 degree of protection, conforming to IEC 60529 - further protection against solid objects e.g a persons fingers.
• IK04 degree of protection - impacts of up to 0.5 Joules to the device offer limited protection.
