IDC Wiremount Plugs (MDR) Shielded

From 3M, this range of 101 Series Mini D Ribbon (MDR) Connectors are .050" IDC Wiremount Shielded Plugs. The design of the 101 Series Mini D Ribbon (MDR) Connectors, provides IDC terminations for the individual cores and wiper-on-wiper contact. The 101 Series MDR Wiremount Plug accepts various cable constructions including round, flat, twisted pair and twinax.

Features and Benefits:

• Can be used in conjunction with metal backshells series stock no. 163-3358 and stock no. 194-2949 typical
• Excellent EMI/ESD protection
• Mates with PCB receptacle stock no. 499-9752 typical

The 3M range of IDC Wiremount Plugs includes:

• 101xx-6000Ex = Gold Flash over Ni IDC plating
• 101xx-6000xL = Contact area Au 0.2 μm, Tail area Au flash with lubricant treatment
• 101xx-6000xC = Contact area Au 0.7 6 μm, Tail area Au flash
• 101xx-6x0xxx = Black cover
• 101xx-6x1xxx = Gray cover
