RS PRO Harsh Environment Wire 0.75 mm² CSA, 25 m Reel
Need to wire up equipment for use in tough conditions? This harsh environment wire from RS PRO is designed for use in situations where high temperatures or fluid spillages could threaten the integrity of electronic installations, creating safety risks.
The cable's annealed copper conductors combine flexibility with excellent conductivity, so you can be sure of a strong connection. They're insulated with silicone rubber and sheathed in polyurethane (PU)-impregnated fibreglass braiding, helping the cable operate at temperatures anywhere between -60°C and +200°C. The cable will even operate at up to +250°C for a short period of time.
The wire conforms to the ECD 73/23/EEC low-voltage directive and VDE standards, so it's certified as a safe and effective cable for use at voltages below 1000 V AC or 1500 DC. Cables of this kind are commonly found being used in construction sites, or installed in aeroplanes and car engines.
