Eaton Ceramic Cartridge Fuse, 10mm Diameter, 1A - Eaton Series - C10G1
Use this general-purpose cartridge fuse from the Eaton range to protect your home appliances from overcurrent damage. It has a wire filament inside that melts when a fault occurs, cutting power to the circuit and safeguarding people and equipment. A ceramic body enhances its breaking capacity and provides thermal insulation to prevent overheating. This component has conductive copper end caps to ensure it makes a reliable connection. Its contacts are also silver-plated for corrosion resistance, so they won't decay due to rust. You'll find fuses like this one in a range of domestic electrical devices, from circuit breakers to plugs and sockets.
Features & Benefits
• Voltage rating of 500V AC (alternating current) for low-voltage equipment
• Compact dimensions of 10 (diameter) x 38mm (length) for use in smaller applications
How can I tell if this fuse has blown?
You can use a multimeter to check if this fuse is blown. Simply set it to ohms and touch both ends of the fuse. A low electrical resistance reading on your multimeter indicates it's working, while a high resistance means the fuse is blown.
