As it clips onto your DILM contactor, it's a quick way to upgrade your device. The contacts have a NO/NC configuration and mirror your contactor. As the opposing contacts are interlocked, they can't be in the same position at the same time. This boosts the safety and reliability of switching operations where induction motors, pumps and fans are involved. You'll also find this unit handy in low-voltage switching applications such as signalling with lights or remote system monitoring.
