Quick Order
How to use Quick Order
Option 1:
If you already know the RS stock numbers for the part you want, save time using 'Quick Order' on the home page, located on the right-hand side of your screen. Then click 'Add to Order'.
You can also use our 'Quick Order' option on the navigation bar at the top of the page. It’s ideal for lists you’ve already prepared. Copy part numbers, quantities, line level cost centres and your own customer part numbers from excel files and paste them into the 'Quick Order' box.
Option 2:
You can also choose to select a number of products within your basket and save it for later. Just build your basket and select ‘Save for later’ to your 'My Lists'.
You can retrieve your list by selecting the ‘My Account’ tab on the navigation bar, and selecting ‘My Lists’. To find out more click here for 'Creating a Part List'.
Costs Centres & own part numbers
If you’re ordering for a company that uses ‘cost centres’ or your own part numbers and would like them to appear on your order, here’s all you have to do:
Step 1: From the home page, click on 'My Account' and then, 'My Profile'.
Step 2: Select ‘View/Set your default settings'.
Step 3: Tick the box 'I would like to enter my cost centres at line level', or 'I would like to enter my part numbers' and 'Save Preferences' at the end of the page.
Using promotion Codes
To claim a special offer, enter the promotional code into 'Add promotion code', situated below your order form, before checking out here.
Expand the field for it to appear and then enter the relevant code.
Please note: The price and offer will be applied to your invoice only and will not show on your online order. The promotion code must be added at the time of order and cannot be added retrospectively.
Adding or changing a Delivery Addresses
We’ve made it easy to add additional delivery addresses or change an existing one:
Option 1:
Step 1: Click 'Checkout securely' once you’ve selected your products.
Step 2: Complete ‘For the attention of’ field if needed with your name or that of the person the order is for the attention of.
Step 3: You have the option to 'Edit' an existing delivery address, or you can add a new delivery address by selecting the ‘Add a Delivery Address’ button.
Option 2:
Step 1: Click on the ‘My Account’ tab on the navigation bar.
Step 2: Click on ‘My Profile’.
Step 3: Select ‘View/Set your default settings’ click here and follow the instructions.
