RS Components offers even more solutions and suppliers in extended motion range

Motion portfolio enhanced and increased thanks to new and updated lines from industry-leading suppliers

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the global distributor for engineers, has further expanded its impressive range of motion control technology to include even more lines and products from industry-leading suppliers.

The company offers a broad range of technologies and suppliers to cater for an ever-increasing array of applications in many different industries. Technologies available cover the entire motion control spectrum and include: motors, geared motors and controllers; a wide range of power transmission products, including gearboxes, belts, pulleys and couplings; PLC’s and HMIs; pneumatic and hydraulic equipment; and a comprehensive range of ancillary products such as encoders, sensors, switches and cables. Over 1,200 processor and microcontroller development kits are also available for those wishing to develop bespoke control solutions.

The suppliers’ list, which features all of the top brands in the automation and motion industry, includes: Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Omron, SMC, Mitsubishi, Telemecanique, Honeywell, IGUS, SKF, Faulhaber, TECO, Maxon, Parker, Eaton, Crouzet, Sanyo Denki and Rexroth Bosch.

The most recent additions include 26 lines of precision DC motors from Faulhaber, 22 new lines from Sanyo Denki, including four stepper drives and indexers and 18 hybrid unipolar and bipolar stepper motors, and Barth STG-500 and 600 logic modules and associated starter kits.
