RS Components closes Asia Pacific Deal with Tektronix for Test and Measurement Products

Hong Kong, 06 September 2010 :

RS Components, the leading distributor of electronic, electro-mechanicaland industrial products, seals the deal to be the Asia Pacific distributor for Tektronix Inc., a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation. The agreement will see RS and Tektronix collaborating on joint sales and marketing initiatives where Tektronix will train and support the sales and service arms of RS to ensure an excellent customer experience. RS in turn will use their sales and marketing channels to promote the products to their wide customer base in Asia Pacific.

RS’ customers in Asia Pacific will now be able to purchase Tektronix’ industry leading oscilloscopes ranging from 60MHz to 200MHz, the AFG3000 family of Arbitrary Function Generators, the DMM4000 series of Digital Mulitmeters and large variety of voltage and current probes..These products are built on Tektronix’ reputation for quality, reliability, measurement accuracy and ease-of-use. Engineers working in communications, computer, semiconductor, military/aerospace, consumer electronics, education, broadcast and other fields have been using Tektronix’ products to solve design challenges, improve productivity and dramatically reduce time to market.
